FAQ and troubleshooting

Something's wrong

I don't have Internet acces, how do I download the installer?

You'll be able to download the installer through the CBS-HELP Wi-Fi.

It doesn't work

Are you sure you used the correct password and your User ID? Try again to see if you typed it in correctly the first time.

I typed my password in correctly. It works on e-Campus.

Passwords generally expire every three months (but still work on e-Campus). Try resetting it on help.cbs.dk.

I don't remember my password

You can reset your password using help.cbs.dk. You'll need your CBS username and your date of birth.

I'm connected, but the Internet does not work

It might be that you have a VPN or DNS setting on your computer which blocks eduroam. Contact IT if you need help disabling it.

It still doesn't work. Where can I get help to set up my computer or phone?

Visit our campus desks: Solbjerg Plads 3 (next to the library entrance): Monday-Friday: 7:45-23:00, Saturday-Sunday: 8:00-18:00. Kiln Hall/Ovnhallen (at Porcelænshaven): Monday-Friday: 7:45-15:00. Device specific issues

Android My phone is asking me about a strange Credential Storage password store. What's that?

Credential Storage is used to store all your Wi-Fi network passwords. If you don't know your Credential Storage password, you can reset it by entering a wrong password until it resets and then set a new password. Be aware that this will erase all stored Wi-Fi passwords!

Android My User ID and password are correct, but it still doesn't work.

It sometimes takes a few minutes for new settings to work on some Android phones. Please wait about five minutes and see if that helps.

iPhone How do I reset my Wi-Fi settings? I can't change my new password.

Your can reset the settings for a specific Wi-Fi network by going to 'Settings' and then 'Wi-Fi'. Press the blue button with the arrow to the right of a network name and then press the 'Forget this Network' button.
